Teaching is the backbone of each and every Oxford Royale Summer School programme. We are passionate about providing the highest possible quality of teaching that engages and challenges our students to push themselves academically. This helps build confidence in both analytical skills and speaking in front of an audience. Our teachers use the fascinating international mix of students in their classes to stimulate debate, allowing them to learn from each other.

The role will be based at one of our summer sites on the campus of the University of Oxford.

To lead students in course-related Field Trips or practical activities
5 hours of teaching over two weeks with lessons at 9AM and 11AM Monday-Friday and afternoon lectures 3 times per week
~ There will be a compulsory training day on the Friday before the programme begins
~ Completion of an undergraduate degree (or higher) relating to their chosen subject
CELTA

TEFL-Q or DELTA equivalent (Trinity Dip. TESOL, etc.)
~ Experience teaching EFL to students of the relevant age group
~ PGCE or Master’s degree in the subject to be taught or one closely related
~2+ years of experience teaching EFL to a class


Experience teaching students from a specific age group (13-15 or 16-18)
Fluency in English
