IT Infrastructure and Cloud Manager Hybrid (3 days per week onsite) – London Bridge
£We are recruiting for an IT Infrastructure and Cloud Manager on behalf of a leading organisation. This role is responsible for the secure and effective operation of all IT infrastructure, software and allied systems to support business objectives and meet user requirements.
Manage, support and maintain the organisation’s infrastructure including hardware, networks and software systems, ensuring effective and efficient operation and that appropriate licensing and support is in place.
Line management of the IT Service Desk Engineer and oversight of the helpdesk team.
Provide input into architectural decision making alongside the IT team.
Ensure IT infrastructure and data are backed up, secure and compliant with regulations including GDPR. Supplier management and regular testing of IT security.
Work with the Data Protection Officer to implement and report on data security policies.
Develop the organisation’s telephony (including mobile phones).
Build and maintain supplier relationships and plan the effective purchase of hardware and software licences across multiple years. Manage and maintain good quality documentation on the IT infrastructure, equipment, manuals and risk management.
Work with the wider Operations team and other departments to ensure systems and functionality are documented and full training and support mechanisms are in place during handover.
Retain flexibility to support special projects/activities required by the business.
Support the rest of the IT team as required.
Microsoft certified at Associate level in Azure, Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Security.
Proven working experience as an IT Infrastructure Manager or relevant experience with a Microsoft hybrid environment (Entra, Intune and Azure).
Proven experience in running IT infrastructure projects and the associated organisation change, such as file migration to Microsoft 365, email protection platforms and migration of legacy applications to Azure.
Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems including Microsoft Azure and 365 cloud services operating in a hybrid environment.
Expertise in data governance.
Hands-on experience with computer networks (switching, routing and security appliances, network administration and network installation).
Experienced in developing and monitoring IT policy and procedures.
