The candidates would ideally have experience of Bathroom works and Roofing. Level 3 educated min criteria along with either Level 2 trade qualification or demonstratable experience It is essential that the applicant has experience of supervising trade staff. Responsibilities would primarily include:

  • The effective and efficient line management of operational staff who are undertaking, servicing, repairs and renewals for social housing properties.
  • Ensure that all works you are managing meet the performance standards of the business in relation to delivery timescale and quality.
  • Responsible for managing, monitoring and co-ordinating trades operatives, including the production of both team and individual standards of performance and work targets.
  • Provide guidance, support, training and development where required to achieve excellent levels of customer service delivery and maintain skills for health and safety compliance.
  • To assist with the programming of works
  • To carry out inspections to determine work requirements, ensure relevant reports and works orders are raised and works progressed in line with policies, procedures, specifications and time targets.
  • To effectively manage and take responsibility for both internal and external service providers including standards of performance and work targets.
  • To effectively investigate and respond appropriately to complaints from customers and clients.
  • High regards for h & s to ensure that all work undertaken on behalf of the company complies with current legislation
