Role Overview:

As a Salesforce Data Cloud Technical Consultant, you'll be a vital part of my clients highly skilled team, delivering innovative Salesforce Data Cloud solutions for some of the UK’s most iconic brands. In this role, you'll leverage your technical prowess and strategic mindset to translate complex requirements into impactful solutions. They’re looking for someone who’s independent, detail-oriented, and thrives in solving complex challenges while raising the bar for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement Salesforce Data Cloud solutions, often in conjunction with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Oversee end-to-end project execution from analysis, documentation, and development to testing and performance, ensuring seamless delivery aligned with client expectations.
  • Identify risks in technical design and data modelling, validate them, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Lead technical workshops and collaborate with engineering teams and business stakeholders to drive design and data model innovation.
  • Continuously monitor new Salesforce ecosystem features and recommend solutions that enhance efficiency.
  • Act as a technical resource for Salesforce Data Cloud implementations, guiding clients through their technical marketing and data needs.
  • Assess client requirements, recommend Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Sales, Service, and other relevant SF ecosystem capabilities and limitations.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact within Salesforce Data Cloud, including components like Data Streams, Unified Data Model, Identity Resolution, Segmentations, Activations, and more.
  • Develop and maintain data model, segmentation, architecture, and technical specifications.

Minimum required Skills:

  • Experience in marketing automation, data modelling, and architecture within Salesforce or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong understanding of customer data modelling best practices.
  • Experience with Salesforce cross-cloud integrations and moderately complex SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with cloud data warehouse/data lake integrations (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks).

Ideal/Preferred Skills:

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalisation experience.
  • Salesforce Data Cloud implementation experience.
  • Segmentation strategy experience.
  • Exposure to Adobe, Marketo, Oracle, or other CDP/marketing automation platforms.
  • SOQL experience.
  • Front-end coding skills (HTML, CSS/SASS, Typescript, React, XML, JSON).
  • Salesforce certifications (Marketing Cloud Administrator/Consultant/Email Specialist, Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant).
