General Building Maintenance Handyperson

Start Date: Immediately
We are looking to recruit an experienced Handyperson to join the voids team for a local social housing contractor within the Westminster area.
Carrying out basic repairs and installations of window and door ironmongery, stair nosings, benches, decking, fencing, erecting blinds, curtain and shelves.
Replacing ceiling tiles and a variety of light bulbs
Preparation work for internal and external decorating and decorating a variety of surfaces including timber, metal and masonry.
Paving slab replacements and basic brickwork
Blocking a variety of holes to help proof against rodents
Ensuring that all tools are readily available at the beginning of each shift so that workers can begin their work on time Requirements:
CSCS Blue Card (Skilled Worker)
Full UK Driving Licence (minimum of 12 months)
A company van with accident cover, parking permit and fuel card (business use only)
7:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday
