We are looking for a positive and hard working full time **Handyperson** to join our friendly Maintenance department.

As **Handyperson** you will assist with the basic maintenance of an award-winning hotel. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop in this department as we offer outstanding training and development.

**Working hours/Shifts: Monday - Sunday; 5 days on 2 days off, 7am - 3.30pm, 12.30 - 9pm, 40 hours per week**

This wonderful hotel has been fully refurbished and features 161 individually designed bedrooms and suites, as well as a range of Food and Beverage outlets including The English Grill Restaurant, The Curry Room Restaurant, The New York Bar, The Palace Lounge and Champagne Bar, as well as 9 well equipped function rooms.

**What are the key responsibilities of a Handyperson?**
- Carrying out all types of repairs to equipment, fixtures and fittings
- Responding to all written dockets, pager requests and telephone calls
- Responsibility of all tools, materials and sundries used in connection with main duties

**What are we looking for in a Handyperson?**
- Be looking for their first maintenance role
- Have strong attention to detail
- Works well under pressure
- Be an excellent team player
- Have strong communication skills
- Have a good command of oral and written English
- We electronically scan and store a copy of your passport/visa and/or ID card to gain a clear indication of the authenticity of the document and establish the ‘Right to Work’ in the UK._
