You will drive maximum return for Ebit and its client(s) by creating, owning, managing and delivering end-to-end procurement activity identified through a project pipeline of activity, working to a high standard delivering client satisfaction, commercial benefit and business improvement. To represent Ebit and our clients best interests, managing stakeholder relationships whilst focusing and prioritising activity, opportunities, and risks.

This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and experienced, senior procurement professional to join this high-performing team with a track record of delivery and client satisfaction. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating and driving procurement activity end-to-end for Ebit’s clients. This role would suit a Procurement Manager who can demonstrate effective results looking to take the next step in their procurement career, transferring to a multi client, consultancy based environment.

** Lead, manage and run procurement activity in all spend categories end-to-end on behalf of Ebit and the client to a high standard ensuring collaboration with appropriate internal stakeholders. This will include but not limited to preparing activity, conducting research and analysis, defining approach, facilitating the development of specifications, preparing tender documentation, running tender process, evaluating responses, negotiating, drafting and reviewing contract documents and service levels, supporting implementation, conducting reviews and managing suppliers.
Manage and maintain stakeholder relationships to ensure client satisfaction including arranging meetings, updates, presentations, reporting (including regular factful completion of Ebit’s Project Tracker) and communicating progress as appropriate.
Development and ongoing management of a pipeline of procurement projects that reflects the client and Ebit objectives and particularly ensures as much opportunity is identified and driven as possible, ensuring no ‘in scope’ category is missed. Ensure appropriate prioritisation and focus is given to the projects, and reviewing them constantly.
Proactively update and communicate activity progress including completion of Ebit/ client project trackers and savings reports, relevant presentations and provide information as required to line management.
Maximise savings/benefits delivered for the client and working at appropriate pace whilst ensuring quality solutions that drive business improvement, ensuring client satisfaction is maintained to a high standard.
Always working and ensuring work is carried out in Ebit’s and the clients’ best interests and ensure a high and consistent quality of output.
Ensure protection of Ebit’s market intelligence. Clear understanding of client and Ebit objectives for procurement project(s) and service levels and ensure this translates into tasks, appropriate focus, prioritisation, action plans and output.
A minimum of 8 years’ experience in senior procurement/commercial roles.
Retail and/or Manufacturing industry experience within a procurement role.
Commercially astute with a drive for delivery and achieving commercial results.
Demonstratable experience and knowledge of procurement best practice and the procurement process.
Solutions focused with an ability to be flexible and deal effectively and appropriately with barriers including getting the desired outcome whilst maintaining relationships.
Experience working with a procurement consultancy
