The Financial Counsellor is responsible for reviewing the in-house financial worklist daily and visiting in-house patients; explaining all financial information, responsibilities and working closely with all stakeholders to ensure patient’s financial coverage.
The Financial Counsellor will support outpatient services in relation to escalated pricing queries and work closely with clinical teams, revenue cycle teams and third-party sponsors to ensure timely and accurate patient registration and interim billing
Maintain accurate and up to date information on the hospital database during the patient journey.
Collection and processing of patient funds
Responding to account queries and complaint resolution
Problem solving ability including patient and consultant complaints
Excellent organisational and communication skills in order to timely communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
