  • Provide support and care for children and young people in a residential setting.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times.
  • Assist with daily activities and routines, including meal times, recreational activities, and educational support.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to meet the needs of residents.
  • Respond effectively to any challenging behaviour or crisis situations.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children or young people in a residential setting.
  • Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Full driving license.
