Halcyon Health and Social Care is partnering with a family-owned children's residential care provider to find a talented Senior Support Worker who shares their passion for caring for children with varying needs.
The company has grown significantly since its inception in 2017, with multiple homes throughout the Midlands and Southwest, each offering unique therapeutic care programs and specializing in supporting children with emotional behavioral disorders, learning disabilities, and complex needs.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will work closely with the management team to ensure the safe and effective running of the home on a day-to-day basis. You will be responsible for overseeing safeguarding practices, supervising staff, and actively participating in key working and case management of the children and young people in your care.
This role offers a unique opportunity to grow your skill-set and managerial expertise while working closely with the Deputy and Registered Manager to maintain and develop robust quality assurance processes.
To be considered for this role, you will need at least 2 years of experience working in a children's residential setting and either be studying for or have obtained your NVQ level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce.
In return for your commitment, you will receive a competitive annual salary of between £31,000 and £36,000, depending on your experience, as well as a generous benefits package and dedicated training sessions with senior members of the team.
