About the Role

Halcyon Health and Social Care is partnering with a family-owned children's residential care provider to find a talented Senior Support Worker who shares their passion for caring for children with varying needs.

The company has grown significantly since its inception in 2017, expanding to multiple homes throughout the Midlands and Southwest. Each home offers a unique therapeutic care program, supported by a dedicated children's psychologist, resulting in consistently high Ofsted ratings.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will work closely with the management team to ensure the safe and effective running of the home. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring safeguarding practices are always followed
  • Working closely with the team to promote the welfare of the young people
  • Overseeing, supervising, and actively participating in key working and case management
  • Maintaining and developing robust quality assurance processes

To be considered for this role, you will need at least 2 years of experience working in a children's residential setting and either be studying for or have obtained your NVQ level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce.

A UK driving license and car are desirable but not essential. In return for your commitment, you will receive a competitive salary of between £31,000 and £36,000, depending on your experience, as well as a generous benefits package.
