Mechanical Construction Manager
James Lewis are currently assisting a key client in their search for a Mechanical Site Manager to join an M&E Contractor who have been well established for over 23 years.
As a privately owned Mechanical & Electrical Building Services contractor they provide services across Design & Build, full M&E services, HVAC, IT infrastructures, CCTV, security, access control and fire alarms. The company has been founded upon sound practises, quality installations and working closely with their clients on a range of projects which include, commercial, education, residential, healthcare, data centres and healthcare ranging in value up to £20m.
The project involves the refurbishment of an existing custodial centre near Oxford which was last used in 2018. The redevelopment forms part of the government plans to provide safe, secure and fit for purpose detained accommodation for those awaiting removal from the UK. Due to nature of the building, there are various elements to it which include accommodation, a medical centre, sports facilities/gymnasium, educational facilities, catering areas and a library with a total M&E value in the region of £20m. Due to the unusual nature of this project our client is relatively open to previous experience, although any experience on custodial projects would be deemed an advantage.
