Our mission at Fidel API is to unlock the full potential of payment cards. We offer a suite of financial infrastructure APIs that enable developers to build programmable experiences connected to purchases made in real-time using a card. Our tools are transforming how merchants and users interact by powering real-time, event-driven engagements in the loyalty and spend management verticals.

Our APIs are used by start-ups through global enterprises and are supported by the world's largest card networks, including Visa, and Mastercard.

Launched in 2018, Fidel is headquartered in London, with access to working spaces in Lisbon, New York, and remote employees globally.

Reporting to the Head of Merchant Partnerships, the Merchant Partnerships Manager will assist in managing the financial operations in the business.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and maintain successful relationships with partners and advertising agencies
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of partnerships budgets and forecasts
  • Manage UK merchant pipeline, new business and status of existing partnerships
  • End-to-end ownership of our relationship with a select group of aggregators, brands and affiliate networks; from third party oversight to development of future growth plans
  • Optimise all aspects of the partner’s performance with the primary aim of delivering growth and great outcomes for Fidel API & customers
  • Work collaboratively with Product, Sales and customer success teams to support thinking on how best to leverage their scale and unique approaches
  • Work with the Head of Brand Partnerships to grow and manage a high-performance partnerships team

We want you, if you have:

  • Experience in affiliate, CLO, loyalty space
  • Experience managing relationships and driving commercial decisions
  • Experience working with direct clients and agencies
  • Experience in fintech (desirable)
  • Ability to work autonomously and with a proactive mindset, and willing to pursue and explore different routes to solving problems
  • Strong analytical skills - whether demonstrated through academic or professional experience, you’ll be at ease with numbers and enjoy solving problems that present numerically
  • Great communication skills - able to effectively convey messages to our partners and senior stakeholders within the business
  • Comfort working collaboratively with associates from across the business; from Legal, Customer Success, Product and Sales
  • Ability to prioritise across multiple projects and deliverables in a very high pace environment
