Application Specialist (ERP)

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Triton Showers based in Nuneaton, as an Application Specialist (ERP).

As the UK’s market and brand leader in showers, Triton is looking for an enthusiastic, positive, and adaptable individual to join our team to support, lead, and direct the ERP solutions used at Triton, to achieve the company's strategic objectives.

The candidate will also ensure that controls, procedures, and documentation are in place to ensure the smooth running of systems and empower other members of IT to support these systems in their absence, always striving to provide consistent, timely, support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review release notes for ERP system patches and upgrades, to understand any potential impact to the business, or where enhancements to existing processes/solutions might be beneficial.
  • Ensure allocated projects are managed and delivered to agreed timescales and budget, with business sign-off regarding completion and satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in existing IT and business processes. Look for improvement opportunities to present to the business.
  • Identify areas for significant change in daily tasks and major change. For example, the ingestion of third-party software/processes into ERP solutions.
  • Work closely with the IT Manager to ensure consistency of support to the business, and critical issues are resolved promptly. Monitored and managed through the IT Helpdesk.
  • Ensure all critical additions to business systems are well-known and documented.
  • Work closely with the BI Team, and other Application Specialist, to ensure all necessary data is available from ERP solutions for the Data Warehouse.
  • Ensure a strong working partnership with Triton’s ERP Solutions providers, mainly Infor for LN, and Exel for Eagle. Ensuring regular reviews are undertaken and product roadmaps are well-known.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be qualified to a Degree or BTEC Equivalent level or have relevant on-the-job experience.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of ERP solutions, preferably Infor products.
  • Have been exposed to manufacturing environments and requirements.

Your working hours will be 35¼ per week between 9.00 am - 5.00 pm from Monday to Thursday and 9.00 am - 4.00 pm on Friday. The role is based at our Head Offices in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, therefore the successful candidate must live within a commutable distance from this.
