Supply Chain and Procurement Officer

The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation skills and having roofing or cladding buying experience. Experience and technical skills in construction and procurement, such as the ability to read construction drawings & undertake take-offs would be helpful.

Procurement and scheduling of products, materials, plant, and equipment

* Monitoring and reporting of price increases, updating internal spread sheets.

* Tracking orders and proactively addressing any failed or late deliveries

* Maintaining and developing the supply chain

* Processing of purchase ledger records

Proven track record in best-value procurement ensuring timely on-time delivery in line with project programs and budget

* Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills to optimise pricing and commercial terms

* Ability to forward plan for multiple site projects and prioritise workload across long-lead and real time demands

* Minimum 2 years Purchasing experience in roofing, cladding, or an aligned industry

* Experience and/or education in procurement and inventory management

* Working knowledge of computer programs for word processing, email, and spreadsheets
