Project Accountant, Burnham, Buckinghamshire (Hybrid working) £45- £55kpa plus benefits including a 10% bonus The Project Accountant will support Project Managers in the financial management of projects. The Project Accountant will ensure maximised returns by being involved in the full lifecycle of a project from the initial bid phrase through to project close out at agreed returns. Key Duties:-
- Support project manager's by providing analysis / reports for assigned projects.
- Proactively challenge project estimate at complete values, risk registers and schedule.
- Maintain important relationships with all functions of the business.
- Ensure all projects are trading in line with IFRS 15.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, a robust controls environment is in place and that approval processes and delegated authorities are adhered to. Ensure audit issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Be a promoter of change during the business transformation phase by challenging the status quo.
- Evaluate business processes, recommend and implement improvements.
- Proactively challenge the assumptions inherent in financial data presented in order to make an appropriate judgement as to its validity and value.
- Fully support month end close process
