Job Title: FLT - Production Despatch Location: Evesham Shifts: Monday to Friday Hours: TBC – morning shift Pay rate: £12.00 per hour Contract: Temporary to Permanent An established, producer and distributor of speciality foods based in Evesham, is seeking for additional Production Despatch Operator to join their expanding team on a temp to perm basis. This fantastic opportunity offers the chance to work for an organisation who are market leaders in their field. Along with attractive working hours & free parking you will assist the Production Supervisor with the day-to-day running of Goods in. As a Production Despatch, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensure all dispatched orders are planned and carried out in accordance with the operational schedule
  • Ensure all deliveries are right first time
  • Managing the receipting of all incoming goods into stores and decanting into correct area daily
  • Unload deliveries as well as preparing and completing orders for delivery
  • Manage cleanliness and efficient use of dispatch space in the unit and containers
  • Daily forklift checks
The ideal Production Despatch operator will:
  • Hold a valid Counterbalance certificate
  • Have previous experience working in a similar role as a Production Dispatch would be beneficial.
  • Experience of working in a warehouse environment
  • An understanding of a 3rd party logistics operation
  • A working knowledge of Health & Safety in a site/warehousing environment
  • Numeracy and literacy skills with the ability to accurately complete paperwork
