About the role

Being a key player in our PreSales and solutioning team, you will work alongside key internal teams, owning the detailing of appdev, data and AI solutions for our clients. You will shape and manage large and/or complex technical components of the sales process for a given customer and with the business development team to scope, solution (both technical and commercial) and create compelling customer facing artefacts for such engagements. You will have a solid understanding of the challenges and opportunities that our clients are facing within themselves and their industry, and how these can be addressed using emerging technologies and cloud services across the following primary domains:

  1. Software Engineering: AppDev and data & AI
  2. Cloud Native Platforms: Azure, AWS and private cloud

This should be combined with experience and high-level understanding of large-scale cloud solutions architecture, novel commercial and delivery models, helping clients transforming into an AI powered cloud first business, developing new services using digital, becoming more agile and resilient.

Key responsibilities

Be confident and capable of shaping our clients’ thinking and unlocking business value through technology-led transformation. Ability to engage and shape sales growth outcomes and forecasting. Ability to shape and solution large and complex deals (with clients and internal teams). Ability to shape Nasstar portfolio and industry point of view (PoV) development. Ability to manage your own time and development successfully.

Key experience

Extensive experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or consulting, specifically within the fields of data solutions, AI, or software applications. Deep technical understanding of data architectures, generative AI technologies, DevOps practices, and software development methodologies. Experience dealing with customers and business stakeholders, at all levels. Confident, credible and authoritative demeanour - to influence clients and stakeholders. Demonstrable broad “T-Shape” knowledge of cloud solutions and services, and a good supporting knowledge of the Microsoft and AWS Partner eco-systems available and other notable vendors other notable vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, etc. Have a firm knowledge of current industry sectors and their specific traits and buying behaviours. Having working understanding and experience of business change and adoption approaches and frameworks. Commercial acumen but balanced with strong customer focus and empathy. With the ability to link technical solutions with business objectives to drive value. Have a growth mindset and open to innovative blue sky thinking.
