We believe passionately that we will only achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, address the consequences of climate change, and tackle inequality when all businesses incorporate sustainability principles into the core of their strategy in a way that also improves business performance. We aim to make achieving sustainable business objectives achievable and accessible to everyone.

We are a fast-growing London-based startup that has been working with some of the most ambitious and exciting brands around. We seek a passionate and competent Sustainability Executive to join our team.

Helping clients understand and realise their sustainability and social impact objectives in a way that improves impact, performance, and profitability will be critical, as well as being an excellent team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude.

The Role

The Sustainability Group is seeking a dynamic Sustainability Executive to help drive the next phase of our rapid development. Key responsibilities include:

  • Guiding clients through our SaaS-based ESG impact management and reporting platform, FuturePlus.
  • Problem-solving and aiding clients in developing robust sustainability and social impact strategies.
  • Assisting clients in sourcing, compiling, and presenting sustainability impact evidence.
  • Conducting audits on client sustainability assessments and preparing comprehensive client reports.
  • Ensuring our clients receive an exceptional and seamless customer experience.

Additionally, this exciting role presents an opportunity to collaborate with the wider team on various tasks and projects, including:

  • Supporting the sustainability consulting and senior management team on client projects and work streams.
  • Contributing to thought leadership pieces, newsletters, and blogs.
  • Conducting research.
  • Identifying and proposing new opportunities for existing clients.
  • Assisting with company administration and daily duties.

Duration of Contract: 12 Months, full-time contract, with an option to move to a permanent contract based on mutual agreement.

Salary: £28-32k per annum

Personal Specification

We are seeking an energetic and values-driven sustainability professional who is passionate about sustainability and social impact in business.

We are an eclectic team from a variety of backgrounds who all share a common passion. We value professionalism, drive, motivation, and ambition as much as conventional qualifications.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 12 months of client-facing experience in a sustainability-related or relevant role.
  • Demonstrated understanding of key sustainability principles and frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with impeccable attention to detail.
  • A composed and creative thinker, confident in designing simple solutions to complex problems.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn new skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with a range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic setting, and as part of our cross-functional team.
  • Ability to work in our London office near London Bridge, mixed with some home-working, and to travel to client meetings when required.
  • Ability to work in the United Kingdom on an indefinite basis.

In return, we can offer:

  • An exciting and impactful role in a fast-growing company.
  • Personal and professional growth opportunities, exposure to diverse projects, and advancement opportunities within the company.
  • The chance to work with a passionate and purpose-driven team, and to collaborate with world-renowned brands on social and environmental sustainability initiatives.
  • A competitive package aligned with demonstrated commitment and skills.
  • Flexibility in working hours, with occasional unconventional hours as project demands dictate.
  • A promise that as we grow, you will grow with us.
