The Production Coordinator's purpose is to facilitate order entry, purchase order entry, commercial invoicing, data signoffs, shipping administration, support obtaining of supplier costs and support job tracking.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
The Production Coordinator provides an administrative and operational support level to the Pre-Production / Production Management team.

Shipping administration
Data Signoffs
Commercial Invoicing
Support job tracking
Support obtaining of supplier costs
Support the artwork sign off process
Prioritize, plan and schedule day-to-day routines and assigned projects to facilitate the overall needs of the International Card Production department.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervision of other personnel not required in this position.

Education/Experience
Two-year college degree preferred (but not essential) or equivalent work experience in purchasing, print-related business working in either pre-production / production / customer service (including placement of external work to pre-agreed vendors) or ideally a combination of all three. Having a detailed understanding and hands on experience of the workflow of a print environment.
Basic Skills
Must be able to articulate artwork requirements and capabilities to internal staff, clients, and vendors in a precise, professional manner. Ability to multitask between estimating and scheduling throughout the day as well as lead/participate in team meetings as needed.
Additional Skills
Must have knowledge of PC operating systems, also, knowledge of the terms and vocabulary used in a commercial print facility and in-depth knowledge of commercial print technologies and capabilities.
