Location: London Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 37.5 per week, flexible shifts including long days, nights, and weekends Salary: Competitive + £3,000 PICU qualification bonus + Benefits Role Overview: Join thier Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) as a Senior Staff Nurse, dedicated to the healthcare needs of women and children. Thier 14-bed PICU is equipped with the latest technology and a team of Consultant Paediatric Intensivists available 24/7, ensuring exceptional care. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the unit in the absence of the Sister/Charge nurse
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
  • Act as a role model and mentor to junior and student nurses
  • Foster strong relationships with children and their families
Qualifications and Skills:
  • NMC Child Registered Nurse (RN Child/RSCN) with immediate paediatric life support
  • Post-graduate experience in a PICU setting
  • Understanding of safeguarding issues
  • Desirable: Teaching/mentoring experience, PICU course (60 credits), experience with audits, supervising, and shift leading
