Immigration Knowledge Development Lawyer. City Firm. 12+ month Assignment. Part Time

Our client, a notable international Law firm in London, is looking to secure the assistance of an Immigration Knowledge Development Lawyer on an assignment of 12+ months, starting ASAP. This assignment is Part Time for 3 days a week .

This role will be well suited to experienced Immigration Knowledge Development Lawyers / Immigration Professional Support lawyers, or experienced Immigration Lawyers (with upwards of 5 years’ PQE) who are looking to move away from fee earning, into a Knowledge Development Lawyer role.

Core responsibilities will include:

  • Co-ordinate, design and prepare internal and client legal training
  • Collect, draft, maintain and update key precedents and client guides
  • Monitor legal developments and emerging areas of law and provide horizon scanning updates to the Immigration lawyers and clients
  • Manage the Immigration team’s knowledge pages on the firm’s intranet
  • Work with the Partners and Risk and Compliance teams to implement and embed best practice and risk management practises across the team
  • Respond to legal queries from fee earners

Successful applicants are likely to:

  • Be qualified lawyers with upwards of 5 years’ PQE specialising in Immigration (both private and corporate immigration matters)
  • Possess experience gained within notable international or City law firms
  • Hold excellent technical skills
  • Have prior experience working as an Immigration Knowledge Development Lawyer, or be an Immigration Lawyer looking to transition into a Knowledge Development Lawyer role
  • Experience in contributing to precedents, know-how and training
  • Hold excellent interpersonal skills
  • Be able to work proactively
  • Possess strong organisational skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to work calmly under pressure

The firm operates a hybrid working policy . It is likely that successful candidates will be anticipated to spend 2 days per week in the London office.

The role is due to start ASAP, therefore applicants should ideally be available immediately or at short notice.
