Well-prepared and nutritious food helps restore the body and brain as people work through treatment. Berry Recruitment is recruiting for an excellent chef to work Mondays to Wednesdays at a rehabilitation centre in Runcorn. The centre can have up to 30 residents at any one time. This role is temporary and ongoing for several months. Hours of work are 10am-6pm, with additional hours available on an adhoc basis. Duties will include, but not be limited to

  • Cooking meals as per the diierary requirements of clients
  • Ensuring the food is prepared in a safe and hygienic way
  • Ensuring the proper quality control systems in place are followed each day
The ideal candidate will have
  • Experience of working alone and kitchen management experience
  • A flexible approach to changing priorities and requests
  • Excellent knowledge of Food Hygiene and safety standards
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or the ability to buy one for £48
