We strive for excellence and are looking for the best and brightest minds to join us in helping to drive performance and improve efficiency. We are a team dedicated to high performance and need driven and passionate individuals who demand the best from themselves.
We are looking for 2 performance engineers: one supporting the trackside activities from the Race Support Room at the Brackley HQ and the other supporting at the track.
As a Performance Engineer your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the preparation for the events with analysis from previous years’ data and supporting pre-event DIL running.
Contributing to the post-event analysis, proposing ideas to improve car performance.
Supporting the decision making of the Senior Race Engineers through data analysis.
Optimisation of electronic setup items at race weekend.
Driver coaching in & out of session: overlays, driving line and ad-hoc analysis.
Develop tools for allowing fast & efficient data-analysis.
Managing brake stock / brake wear
Actively participate in analysis to identify areas of risk and opportunities to contribute to the overall performance process
Experience as a performance or simulator engineer.
Demonstrate a sound knowledge of both theoretical and practical vehicle dynamics and an understanding of tyre engineering.
Ability to compare and analyse car data will also be required along with good problem-solving skills.
Keen to use intuition to perform deeper analysis of problems outside of initial skills and knowledge.
Ability to generate datasets for BBW, differential and engine braking maps would be beneficial.
Coding skills in Python or other languages
The Trackside Performance Engineer role will require travel to a significant number of race and test events and may involve periods of up to three weeks away from home. The factory based Performance Engineer role will also require some travel to race and test events.
