AIVR (Automated Intelligent Video Review) is a state-of-the-art video technology system used by thousands of people in the rail industry. This position involves providing technical assistance to staff, maintaining IT equipment, patching servers and contributing to the smooth operation of the company's IT systems.
The role is based in our Bristol office. Occasional travel may be required to our Derby office and Datacentre in South Wales. A full UK Manual driving license is required.


Technical Support: Provide first-line technical support to colleagues, assisting with hardware and software issues.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, and servers.
Software Installation: Assist in the installation, configuration, and updates of software applications.
Hardware Maintenance: Help with the setup, maintenance, and inventory management of IT hardware.
User Assistance: Support users in account setups, password resets, and general IT inquiries.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of IT systems, procedures, and user requests.
Security Compliance: Assist in enforcing IT security policies and best practices. Personal Qualities and Experience

Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other IT staff.
Basic knowledge of operating systems (macOS, Windows, Linux) and familiarity with hardware and network components.
