Senior Account Manager – Award-winning B2B Agency – London Bridge - £40k - £45k   
Do you have at least 3 years of experience as a Senior Account Manager leading client relationships, spanning branding and marketing projects in a similar-sized (25+ person) agency?
 
We are an award-winning boutique B2B marketing agency based in London Bridge, rapidly growing with a skilled team. We excel at simplifying complex ideas, creating integrated campaigns, content strategies, and brand repositioning for top names in professional services, tech, and manufacturing like Anaplan, Cisco, Sage, Halma, and more 
 
As a member of the Client Partner team at Velo, you will be responsible for taking the lead in the delivery, profitability, and client satisfaction of your accounts, as well as driving the growth of your accounts.
 
You will act as a line manager to an Account Executive, so previous management experience is a must, as you will be responsible for supporting their individual development. As standard, you will collaborate with internal strategic, creative and digital teams across the agency, fostering a culture of collaboration and inclusion.
 
Be within a commutable distance of our London Bridge office.

Lead the day-to-day interactions for your assigned clients/accounts, building strategic client relationships at a senior level. 
Assist in developing growth and retention strategies for your accounts. This includes defining clear account development plans, understanding their business/sales objectives, and allowing for regular proactive upsell/ cross-sell of agency services. 
Ensure all project milestones, billable amounts and POs are accurately reflected and consistently up to date in the Sales Ledger, this includes keeping billable hours on track across the team and delivering against the agreed activity, contracts, SLAs, and T&Cs. 
Brief the Studio directly, through creative and production briefs, as well as knowing when to engage and delegate to specialists such as project managers, campaign managers, content strategists, storytellers, copywriters, studio managers, etc.
Use of digital marketing expertise to identify and capitalise on sales opportunities with assigned clients, writing and presenting commercial proposals where appropriate, and following the sales process through to completion.
Provide support, guidance and mentoring for junior and newer members of the team, managing requirements and expectations as to any involvement they may have on your accounts. 
Drive your own training plan to keep your knowledge relevant and current, proactively sharing and presenting your insights and learnings with the wider team. 
 
SUPPORT TEAM AND AGENCY-WIDE OBJECTIVES   
 
You’ll be comfortable estimating, scoping, and presenting projects to the point of brief, and be able to show commercial acumen.
Understand client needs/objectives and KPIs for client projects to ensure effective measurement of project success and to aid repeat business. Be responsible for setting up, developing, and delivering strategic client meetings for your assigned accounts, including monthly and QBR meetings. This includes ensuring you utilise the time to share insights, offer strategic guidance, advice, and forward planning to build a pipeline of activity. Sharing insights from these meetings with wider teams as necessary to drive new initiatives and business development opportunities that will ensure Velo business objectives are met.
Be directly responsible for the overall strategy and progress of your accounts and the profitable retention and growth of our existing business. This includes shaping and feeding into your account/client development plans, ensuring this is tracked and shared internally with the appropriate person/s, and proactively driving this forward to achieve objectives.
Oversee all activity for your accounts including handling multiple budgets, milestones, research and insights, data, client servicing, and digital marketing.
Manage the invoicing of client activity against agreed milestones, as well as the Sales Ledger pipeline and updates aligned to the schedule of work (ensuring that work is accurately forecasted and delivered in line with the schedule in the SL).
Consistently showcase your expertise managing and delivering content, creative and campaigns spanning digital (primarily) and print, ensuring all adhere to client SLAs (including alignment on this if not already in place).
Ensure project management, execution and delivery results in great customer satisfaction, long long-term customer relationships and achieve the agency’s commercial goals.
Regularly and consistently showcase your understanding and expertise in Velo offerings, including how you are presenting these solutions/offerings to clients, as well as activating them at the right time using Velo’s 3D thinking and in-house expertise. Finalist – Global Digital Excellence Awards
