The Opportunity Qlaims is an award-winning business, an MGA, specialising in claims assistance services to clients. Making an insurance claim is never easy and we offer professional personal claims support (advocacy) to clients. These claims concierge services are provided via an insurance product, called Loss Recovery Insurance, to businesses and homeowners and sold in a similar way to legal expenses or breakdown cover. Our passion is to improve customer outcomes at claim time using our mix of people, expertise and empathy, as well effective use of modern technology.
Qlaims is a young business and there is huge opportunity to grow with the company, as well as participate in its success.

You’ll be responsible for identifying, developing and building relationships with insurance brokers and MGAs. You’ll understand the needs of our broker partners when it comes to their (property) claims proposition to their clients, and through Qlaims’ products and services you’ll support them in delivering great customer outcomes.
You’ll network widely, representing Qlaims at key industry events, and you’ll deliver strong growth in sales and income to our business. Your revenue targets from both existing and new partnerships, whilst continually expanding your network of new partners.
You’ll engage with potential partners and by effectively communicating our value proposition, you’ll deliver mutually beneficial long-term partnerships.
New and updated presentation materials, as well as other marketing collateral, working closely with the marketing team to keep the Qlaims brand fresh and aligned to our strategy.
Contract implementations, from negotiation, execution, and monitoring, ensuring that all commitments are fully delivered.
Working closely with the executive team, you’ll support the forecasting, budgeting and commercial modelling activity for Partnerships, taking responsibility for the agreed Partnerships targets.
Current and relevant CRM system and processes, where with all development activity and client contacts are captured.
You’ll be enthusiastic and confident, with a demonstrable track record in business development – sales and profit. You’ll be a first-class communicator, with an existing network of contacts, who is adept at selling products and services by phone, video-calls, and in person.
You’ll also be already proficient in Microsoft Office software, such as MS Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
You’ll already have at least 5 years’ experience in a partnership or corporate business development role within the insurance industry.

Excellent salary and Company pension; performance related bonus; car allowance; 25 days holiday; and, opportunity to participate in the Company’s share option scheme. Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Location: Home-based, but UK wide travel is required to fulfil the role.
