They now seek an experienced Head of Technical / Technical Director to lead the regional Engineering and Design function and play a central role in shaping the future of the Yorkshire business.
 
for the right individual, this role is viewed as part of medium-term MD succession planning.
 
Drive technical standards, design quality and engineering excellence across multiple developments
Provide clear leadership to a high-performing team, setting expectations, driving accountability and supporting professional development
Collaborate closely with Land, Commercial, Construction and Sales to de-risk schemes and enable successful delivery
Experienced Technical leaders from the housebuilding / new homes sector with a track record of driving technical performance
Strong people leaders with experience of coaching, developing and motivating high-performing teams
Individuals operating at regional management level, comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and working cross-functionally
Our client is open to candidates who are prepared to relocate to the region or commit to a weekly commute.
 
The role is based in Yorkshire, with an expectation of being in the office / on site 3–4 days per week. It is essential that the successful candidate immerses themselves in the local market, builds strong internal and external relationships, and has a direct impact on the company’s performance and continued success in the region.
