Job description:
We are looking for a Commercial Planning Manager Category Expansion to join our dynamic team. Your role is to drive commercial growth within the Frozen category and unlock the strategic Category Expansion growth opportunities across all channels. A key commercial leadership role working within the CP&E team and reporting to the Snr Commercial Planning Manager for Breakfast, this role is primarily focussed on Category Expansion. Your day-to-day activities will include business partnering with relevant stakeholders to achieve internal and external (non-Breakfast) Category Expansion objectives including Turnover, Profit, Innovation, and market share.
To excel in this role, you'll need to be agile. This role requires an individual who is a champion of fresh ideas. For this role, we're really keen to bring in someone who is a confident decision maker. Strong leadership and influencing skills are necessary - the ability to lead across multiple stakeholders at a senior level. You will be highly analytical with the ability to articulate complexity with simplicity. A confident communicator at all levels, a self-starter with strong priority-setting capability. Working with a team of Account Managers, Marketing teams, and across the broader supply chain (Demand planning / FGM's etc) you'll be instrumental in leading our Category Expansion growth opportunities.

The Key Requirements...- Responsible for working cross functionally with all Commercial teams to develop brand & channel strategies to deliver budgeted sales, profit and NPD targets.
- Develop, agree, drive execution of promotional strategy and guidelines across all Category Expansion brands in all channels.
- Improve promotional return on investment for brands category.
- Analyse and review business forecast & key issues in business planning process influencing Customer teams to drive outperformance.
- Design of pack, price & promotional architecture relevant Frozen and Chilled brands.
- Accountable for the commercialisation of relevant NPD including pricing, promotional support and ensuring execution through the sales team achieving objectives.
- Ensure Sales and Customer strategies are integrated into brand plans by influencing Brand Directors.
- Accountable for creating the sell stories / decks for NPD for all channels for Category Expansion brands (not writing every page but ensuring it meets the needs of the business)
