Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Administrator to join our dynamic Global IT team. As a Systems Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our organization's Global IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations, and providing expert support to our users. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft systems administration, user IT support, Office 365 administration and support, Citrix and VMware administration and support, and some exposure to cloud technologies.

Job Description:

  1. Provide efficient and effective technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving network connectivity problems, and assisting with various IT-related inquiries.
  2. Office 365 Administration and Support: Oversee Office 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams. Set up user accounts, manage access permissions, and collaborate with teams to enhance productivity and collaboration within the organization.
  3. Citrix/VMware Administration and Support: Administer and maintain virtual environments, ensuring smooth operation of virtualized applications and desktops for remote and on-site users. Troubleshoot and resolve any Citrix/VMware related issues that may arise.
  4. Cloud Experience: Demonstrate familiarity with cloud computing concepts and technologies, such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform. Assist in the integration of cloud-based services into our existing infrastructure, as well as the management of cloud resources.
  5. Contact vendors / service providers to troubleshoot and replace failure equipment.
  6. System Upgrades and Migrations: Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations while keeping data integrity intact.
  7. Conduct patch management to deploy security patches in PCs and Servers as needed.
  8. Coordinate IT project with vendor or headquarters for new IT systems installation, deployment, and user acceptance testing.
  9. Review and update branch business continuity plan annually.
  10. Renew and mange maintenance contracts to ensure all systems under protection.
  11. Manage user accounts under company policies and procedures.
  12. Documentation and Training: Create detailed documentation of system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and IT processes. Conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding and utilization of IT resources. Assist all business events and conference with IT technologies and solutions.
  13. Business travel is required to European sites.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft systems administration, Helpdesk user IT support, Office 365 administration and support, Citrix and VMware, and some cloud technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Microsoft technologies.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Familiarity with Virtual technologies, such as Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (formerly XenApp and XenDesktop) and VMware ESXI/Vcenter.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and their basic concepts.
  • Solid understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
