The Role Scope
Buying Assistant will provide administrative support to the Buyers and Buying Department. Enabling the Buyers and the Buying Department to function efficiently.
✨Role key responsibilities
- Supporting the administrative requirements of the buyers
- Order management, including loading orders onto and maintaining the range plan, placing purchase orders, and confirming orders with brands and suppliers
- Managing the critical path of the product from purchase to delivery and on sale to sell out
- Monitoring and reviewing the accuracy of product online
- Tracking, receiving, logging and maintaining the sample library
- QC and sample fit sessions
- Competitor analysis and competitor shopping reports
- Trend research
- Creating packs and trend boards
- Liaising with brands and suppliers daily
- Being the first point of contact for the warehouse
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with brands
- Assisting other departments with product and brand related enquiries
- Working with other departments to ensure the brands and products are presented in the best way (photography, marketing)
- Managing the SKU exception process
- Preparing reports, updating spreadsheets and databases
About You

- 2 years administrative experience
- Proficient in Excel
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent communicator
- Positive attitude
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Be able to work well as part of a dynamic team
- A keen interest in sports and fashion, as well as knowledge of sports and fashion product would be advantageous.
