This role is the perfect way to embark on your career as a Chartered Manager. With every challenge you tackle, you’ll refine your skills in communication, management, and the art of inspiring others.
You’ll work towards becoming a professional manager capable of handling complexity and delivering impact at both strategic and operational levels - mastering the intricacies of project management, financial acumen, innovation, and risk management. Most importantly, you’ll forge strong relationships with stakeholders, building your presence as a trusted and influential leader.

As a Chartered Management Degree Apprentice, you’ll take on a supervisory role from day one, gaining hands-on experience leading teams, managing operations, and making decisions that drive results. You’ll combine your academic learning with practical management experience, ensuring you can apply what you study directly in the workplace.
You’ll develop skills in leadership, communication, strategic planning, and business improvement - becoming a confident and capable manager ready to make a positive impact.

Leadership and Team Management
Lead and supervise teams, overseeing day-to-day operations
Support and develop team members through mentoring and coaching
Project and Strategic Delivery
Manage projects to achieve defined objectives and timelines
Oversee resources effectively to ensure operational efficiency and service excellence
Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard
Analyse business data and market trends to make informed decisions
Track and report on departmental metrics to support management decisions
Promote ethical business practices and sustainable performance
Managing and supporting a team to deliver daily performance goals
Coaching team members and conducting development discussions
Analysing data to identify trends and inform operational improvements
Participating in planning meetings to align goals and priorities
Managing workflow, resource planning, and time-critical projects
Supporting strategic initiatives to enhance customer experience and efficiency
Collaborating with other managers to share best practices and drive innovation
Applying new management theories to solve everyday operational challenges
You’ll work in one of our operational sites - the heart of Amazon’s customer experience - leading and developing teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Our operations include everything from fulfilment centres and delivery stations to corporate support teams. Each site provides unique opportunities to learn, lead, and deliver results. While you’ll be placed within a specific site, you’ll collaborate with leaders across Amazon’s network to share ideas and best practices.
Successful apprentices may progress into management roles across our operations network or other business functions, continuing to grow their leadership and business expertise within Amazon.
Have lived in the UK, an EEA country, or a British Overseas Territory for 3 years or more prior to commencing the apprenticeship (September 2026)
Have the right to live and work in England (if you are on a visa, this needs to enable you to legally work and reside in England for the entire duration of the programme until March 2030)
Be 18 years old or older before entering an Amazon building (September 2026)
Have at least 5 GCSEs C grade (grade 4) or above including Maths and English
PLEASE NOTE: This position is a 42-month fixed-term contract. Organisation and time management - capable of prioritising and balancing multiple responsibilities
