Senior Cloud Transformation Consultant

Global consultant client

Up to £100k + bonus

Hybrid remote - U.K based with some travel to client sites

A global consulting client with offices around the U.K are looking to hire a Senior Cloud Transformation Consultant to join the team. The successful candidate will have extensive ITIL experience (best practice/incident management/change management) and will be ITIL certified alongside extensive experience transforming end clients’ businesses technology platforms (Advising on migrating to cloud/platforms).

You will also be tasked with setting the direction, driving forward new business, model the clients values and behaviours, and coach/develop junior members of the team.

Key skills:

  • Extensive ITIL experience and certified (ITILv4 best practices and frameworks, including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and Service Desk operations
  • Proven experience managing operating model transformations with ability to work internal & external stakeholders
  • Some understanding and experience with DevOps principles and practices
  • Experience of delivering business outcomes through your consulting skills to develop cloud operating models utilising agile and lean principles as well as process flow mapping
  • Experience in implementing platform based operating models & designing organisation structures that enables to enhance cloud value
  • Proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Must be eligible for security clearance (Five years in the U.K and not been outside the U.K for longer than 28 days within the last Five years)

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and audits of existing cloud operating models to identify areas for improvement.
  • Deliver digitally enabled business outcomes using your experience in strategy development, service management, agile delivery, DevOps, business process mapping and organisational design.
  • Monitor/evaluate the effectiveness and maturity of cloud operating model transformations, adjusting as needed to ensure success.
  • Work and communicate with all levels of an organisation to collaboratively innovate, design, and implement cloud transformations.
  • Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events
