The Business Development Manager drives sales in a competitive environment, through building and maintaining strong relationships to deliver profitable and sustainable growth.
We are seeking a dynamic and driven business development professional to promote and sell the company’s bathroom products to premium Bathroom Showrooms, Buying Groups (Fortis NBG) within the Midlands and Northern England – Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester and Leeds.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive retail development strategies to drive growth and meet sales targets.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and target markets.
Showroom Expansion: Identify, evaluate, and develop opportunities for new showroom locations or partnerships, and coordinate their successful implementation with internal teams.
Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and foster loyalty.
Sales and Negotiation: Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), sales metrics, and market data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective strategies
Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement in-store and online marketing campaigns, promotional initiatives, and merchandise displays.
Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years’ experience selling to the premium bathroom showrooms within the Midlands and Northern England, (Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester, Leeds).
Existing network within retail showroom sector is preferrable.
Ultimately, a desirable candidate is an entrepreneurial, results-driven professional with excellent communication skills who can bring innovative ideas and a structured, methodical approach to driving sustainable business growth.
