JOB PURPOSE

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our passionate and driven Account Management Team. As a Business Account Manager, you will strive to understand our customers' needs, actively planning how to meet those needs and generate sales for the company.

You will proactively manage and develop both existing and prospective Welcomm customers, achieving targeted levels of customer re-signs and sales across all our verticals.

In an industry that is continually evolving, we are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to help elevate our business forward during this exciting time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, promote, and expand solutions, products, and services from Welcomm’s portfolio to achieve quarterly sales targets with your assigned accounts.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers through effective communication channels such as quality calls and meetings. Use these interactions to uncover new opportunities, address concerns, and overcome obstacles while analysing their current and future needs and plans to provide tailored solutions.
  • Ensure timely re-signing of all customers with airtime and contractual agreements before their expiry dates to maintain continuity and client satisfaction.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration across all areas of the business, leveraging insights from product specialists to deepen your understanding of Welcomm’s product portfolio. Utilise this knowledge to drive innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers effectively.

ABOUT YOU

Essential:

  • Ideally, you will have experience in account management or sales, but full training will be provided for exceptional candidates without direct experience.
  • You will have a passion for sales with a strong customer focus and be a quick learner who can adapt to new technologies.
  • You will be a confident and influential communicator with a well presented, positive, proactive, and professional approach.
  • You will have the ability to establish and earn trust from your customers, demonstrating concern for the success of their business and actively listening to identify customer needs and propose solutions to benefit the customer.
  • You will have effective time management, organisation, and multi-tasking skills to manage multiple requests, orders, appointments and projects.
  • You will have a full, clean, UK driving license with the ability to travel and the flexibility to attend appointments and meetings outside of normal working hours as and when required.

Desirable:

  • It would be an added bonus if you had experience of the IT, fixed line or mobile industry and be conversant with CRM systems.
