The company:
Our client is a leading provider of innovative diagnostic solutions, dedicated to improving patient outcomes and advancing the healthcare industry. Their products division plays a crucial role in our mission by delivering high-quality diagnostic products to healthcare providers worldwide.
Position Overview:
They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Divisional Senior Management team. This key leadership role is responsible and accountable for the operational processes within the Diagnostic Products Division. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day management of purchasing, customer services, stores, production, production engineering process improvement, and facilities management. Additionally, this role will require close collaboration with outsourcing project management to reduce product costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the daily operations of purchasing, customer services, stores, production, and facilities management.
- Ensure operational processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with company goals.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in production engineering processes.
- Oversee procurement activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favourable terms.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior management role within the medical device sector
- Strong knowledge of operational processes, including purchasing, production, and facilities management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic planning skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is highly desirable.
