Head of Growth & Operations | Social Care provider South of England Salary: £70k – £75k per annum (negotiable DOE) + £5k car allowance Benefits: Discretionary bonus, mileage, phone & laptop Remit Compass Associates have been mandated to source a Head of Growth & Operations for a care provider in the South of England. This is a brand-new role designed to accelerate the company’s growth plans and expand capacity across the UK. Role Description The purpose of this role is to manage the full end-to-end opening of new services from site search and contract negotiation through to operational trading, ensuring each service launches efficiently and grows quickly in its first year. This position carries substantial visibility and influence with the Board, and wider Executive Team. Key Points Responsible for new services at varying stages of rollout. Full accountability for all pre and post opening activity, including recruitment, marketing, compliance, facilities, and H&S. Candidate must possess strong commercial acumen and the ability to review and negotiate leases confidently and independently. Expected to work cross functionally across recruitment, operations, marketing, finance, training, and property teams. Must be highly self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing multiple simple but concurrent projects. Should be able to create, refine, and improve systems, processes, and tools independently. Role Overview As the Head of Growth & Operations, you will lead and accelerate the rollout of new services across the UK. You will coordinate activity across a broad range of stakeholders, acting as the central driver to shorten the time from site identification to service trading, while ensuring all new locations meet high standards of quality and commercial performance. This position requires an individual capable of operating with a strategic mindset, balancing pace, quality, commercial rigour, and strong relationship management. Requirements Proven track record within multi-site expansion, site acquisition, project management, or rollout environments. Strong commercial skillset with the ability to read, review, and negotiate leases and manage legal documentation. Experience in sectors such as PE-backed rollout businesses, hospitality, retail, property, health & social care. Highly intelligent, commercially astute, detail-oriented and capable of operating independently with minimal oversight. Competent in Microsoft 365 and project management tools (MS Project, Kanban, Teams etc.). Comfortable managing several live projects simultaneously in a fluid, evolving organisational structure. Degree in business, finance, law or project management desirable. Home-based with national travel. Location This role is home-based, with regular travel across the South & Midlands, and other regions where services are in development. Preferred locations include London, South West, Midlands, and surrounding areas. In exchange, they are offering a salary of £70,000 - £75,000, a £5,000 car allowance and discretionary quarterly bonus.
