Role – Technology Architect
Required experience – Java, Spring boot, Microservices and AWS
In the role of Technology Architect, you will drive architecture policies, standards, technology roadmaps, reference architectures and preferred products to direct and guide all technology decisions within the client organization. You will also own and drive the direction for the strategy and architecture for IT in response to business strategy. By working closely with strategic vendors and IT platform leads, you will provide architecture and solution design assurance by performing the role of a Lead Architect.
Responsible for the development of solutions for one or more complex portfolios/domains to ensure effective solutions are designed in accordance with business value priorities, business requirements, client’s standards and technology strategy.
Responsible for facilitating high quality, timely technology estimates for solutions and roadmaps to ensure effective technology estimation of technology solutions.
Responsible for business and technology collaboration and ensure effective engagement with various delivery partners.
Own, source and manage solution architecture outcomes, develop documentation and obtain approval from key stakeholders
Identify and facilitate the resolution of architecture decisions and issues through the solution architecture and delivery phases
Apply expert knowledge of systems and best practices to inform project team on optimal designs to ensure high quality solutions are delivered to the business
Define the architecture policies, standards, processes, reference architectures, and solution and architecture building blocks for the enterprise and drive governance thereof
Knowledge and awareness of emerging technology trends and solutions relevant to Banking and FS industry
Evaluate and review Design Frameworks and Methodologies and approve design in order to achieve functional and non-functional requirements and conformance to the established architecture guidelines and principles

10+ years of total IT experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks with intensive experience in Java full stack, Spring boot and Microservices
~ Proven experience in AWS based Cloud Architecture and migration skills including AWS services technologies and practices, building applications using services such as AWS EC2, ECS, IAM, Lambda, EMR, Cloud Formation, and CHEF.
~ Deep understanding of API management, trends of digital architecture
~ Deep understanding of Business Architecture, Data Architecture, Application Architecture, Technology Architecture and Security Architecture
~ Good understanding of SDLC including Waterfall, Agile and DevOps
~ Ability to conduct comprehensive analysis of key business and technology trends in the banking industry to arrive at the solution
~ Knowledge of security and data architecture applicable for banking domain
~ We have clients across Europe, so candidate is expected to travel for long / short durations depending on business requirements in the future
