A HR Coordinator / Human Resources Coordinator is needed to join one of the leading suppliers of high-performance building chemicals and sealants to the trade. Working from their offices in Elland, West Yorkshire, expect to continue your CIPD journey whilst providing vital support to the Managing Director, Head of Operations, and other key managers. In collaboration with their expert HR Consultant, your mission will be to uphold and enhance HR operations across the company, ensuring they remain compliant and efficient.

For nearly two decades, our client has been a leading manufacturer of high-performance building chemicals, including sealants, adhesives, and more. Serving customers across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and North America, they employ over 100 people and offer a wide range of competitively priced, high-quality products to meet diverse needs. They are now seeking a talented HR Coordinator / Human Resources Coordinator who will report to the MD and work closely with the Company's HR Consultant who will provide professional coaching, mentoring support and guidance around employment legislation and operational best practice.

The HR Coordinator / Human Resources Coordinators responsibilities will include:

  • Organising and maintaining personnel records
  • Updating internal record systems
  • Preparing HR documentation
  • Creating and revising HR policies
  • Preparing HR reports
  • Assisting with employee relations and employee queries
  • Providing support to the payroll function and assisting the Payroll Department. (You will follow a structured training plan to support the Payroll function).

In short, you will provide extensive HR and administrative support to ensure seamless operations, compliance, and efficient employee management within the company,  with the added opportunity to pursue CIPD Level 5 and Level 7 accreditation.

To qualify... You must be a HR Coordinator / Human Resources Coordinator / HR Administrator / Human Resources Administrator / HR Assistant / Human Resources Coordinator or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

  • Experience of working in an HR environment with working knowledge of HR policies, procedures and systems
  • Understanding the importance of confidentiality is a must and  you should be working towards (completing 2024), or have attained, CIPD Level 3 qualification at an approved CIPD Centre
  • Excellent IT skills and experience of Microsoft functions including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people at all levels
  • Excellent sense of accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to multi-task and plan and organise your own time effectively; work methodically; create your own work plans; prioritise and meet deadlines
  • A Degree is not essential, but you must be educated to a good standard with a minimum of 5 GCSEs at level 3 or above including English and Maths and A level standard grade 3 or above

This role is 100% office based (working hours 39 per week). Due to the office location it is required that you have a driving licence and access to a vehicle .
