Associate Director Supply Chain

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and strategic individual for the role of Associate Director, Site Supply Chain.

This role involves managing all site-related supply chain activities, including production planning, materials management, logistics, and project management. The successful candidate will work closely with the site Leadership Team and the Global Supply Chain team to ensure seamless product supply.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the Production Planning & Scheduling team to manage site planning and production schedules.
  2. Oversee Materials Management to ensure accuracy in inventory and performance against metrics.
  3. Manage site supply planning within global Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
  4. Anticipate and identify supply chain risks and develop action and resolution plans.
  5. Establish and maintain effective communication channels to provide accurate information.
  6. Recommend plans and strategies for continuous improvement in operations and procedures.
  7. Assist in managing the materials budget and ensure adherence to the approved budget.
  8. Responsible for accurate management of materials related information in ERP and spreadsheets.
  9. Participate in business system implementation projects to improve operational performance.
  10. Oversee change controls, investigations, and deviations and partner with stakeholders to manage on time release of batches.
  11. Participate in supplier governance activities, manage supplier issues, and negotiate and manage supplier agreements.
  12. Create a high-performing team that emphasizes strengths-based execution, accountability, open communication, people development and continuous improvement.
Key Skills and Requirements:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management and logistics.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to manage multiple, at times conflicting priorities, and proactively seek creative yet viable solutions.
