As Head of Sales you will be responsible for:

  • Defining an executing the European sales strategy to meet objectives set out in the company’s business plan.
  • Sales plans, through the direct management of the sales teams.
  • Leading sales and client-relationship management, tracking new markets and emerging trends capitalising on new product development opportunities and steering new product design development.
  • Proposing and developing new strategic partnerships.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers.
  • Setting and delivering annual sales budgets.
  • Leading the development of the global business CRM systems.
  • Develop, mentor and manage direct reports.
  • Attending industry trade shows with the objective of securing new business leads and opportunities.

We would love to receive applications from candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Experience in capital equipment (ideal)
  • Financial management awareness.
  • The capability to implement change and drive improvement.
  • Experience in inputting processes and sales strategies.
  • An ability to build, coach, lead, develop and motivate a team.
  • A strong analytical and solutions focus.
  • That they are highly motivated and an excellent communicator.
  • Strong organisation and administration skills.
  • The ability to work under intense pressure to within fixed timelines.
  • Experience in managing dynamic and complex Key Accounts.
  • That they have the capacity to undertake international travel as required.
  • Experience within the Pet/Vet industry would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • A very high level of commercial acumen.
