Job Title: Business Development Manager - Public Sector Location: Central UK Based - travel required (HQ in Bracknell)

In this autonomous and rewarding role you will be responsiblefor developing and delivering business by targeting accounts across the UK in the business-to-business market.
Tender Analysis:Collaborates with teams to provide analysis and support the response to client tenders so as to achieve sales targets
Tracks market trends and activity within defined market segment so as to identify new business opportunities
Bid Management:Contributes towards the implementation of the new tenders so as to achieve the operational and commercial requirements therefore meeting the customer needs
Local Business Development:Collaborates and consults with local and regional partners and internal stakeholders to deliver the best outcomes for the business and ensuring a consistent approach
Business Intelligence:Shares business and customer insights with colleagues so as to capitalise on new market data and enhance further the Avis proposition
Collaborates with commercial team to set pricing strategy and maintain rate and volume and competitive situation
Relationship Management:Develops strong relationships across individual business team, operations, European and UK marketing teams to deliver an integrated approach
An individual with prior business to business experience
An individual with experience selling into Public Sector, Local Authorities and Councils
An individual who is happy to travel to sites and customers throughout the UK where required
Ideally the successful individual would have a proven and current background in the car rental industry
A proactive worker who is self-motivated to do a home based role
Tenacious to win and develop new business
Someone with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office package
