Occupational Health Technician/ Sports Science Graduate

Job Title: Occupational Health Technician Contract : Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
This does not include overtime which can take earnings up to 33K per annum (calculated on an average of 8 – 9 hrs overtime per week)

As an Occupational Health Technician, you’ll be part of a team that helps organisations look after the health and wellbeing of their employees. You'll drive a Mobile Testing Unit to client sites to deliver a variety of health assessments that support early detection of health issues and promote long-term wellbeing at work.

Carrying out health surveillance tests such as:

- Skin prick allergy testing
- Venepuncture (blood draws) – we’ll give you full training
Supporting health promotion initiatives, like wellness events or wellbeing campaigns
Helping to improve processes, ensuring we keep our service efficient, effective, and patient-focused
Completing clinical paperwork and updating health records accurately
This role is a great opportunity to get hands-on clinical experience, develop your skills, and build a solid foundation for a career in occupational health.

Have a degree in Sports Science , Physiology , Health & Exercise Science , or a related field
Have a full clean UK driver’s licence, able to drive and park a mobile unit at home. Are hands-on, motivated, and excited about improving health outcomes in the workplace
Want to build a career with purpose and progression
Bonus points if you have experience as an EMT, Occupational Health Technician, or in nursing, but it’s not essential. We provide full training

# Candidates must have a full clean driver’s licence, able to drive and park a mobile unit at home.
# Mobile units are 3.5 tons, a special licence is not required.
# All MU drivers will be provided with driver familiarisation training.
# All drivers are required to undergo a Drivers Medical.


Employment with Medigold is subject to the individual undergoing a DBS check and evidence of Right to Work in the UK.
# Full training is provided to all candidates.


Overnight stays will be required for this location. Hotel and meal allowances are paid by the company.


Start and finish times are dependent on our client needs which can be a mixture of early, usual or late starts and some shift work between the hours of 11pm and 6am paid at a higher rate.
# Core hours are 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours x 5 days per week).
# Overtime is usually made up of travel time to and from site and paid at a higher rate.
