Are you an experienced Supply Chain professional with a passion for the Defence sector? We are looking for an Interim Supply Chain Manager to join our team for a 6-month contract, with the flexibility to work from either the South Coast, Bristol, or remotely in a hybrid capacity.
Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers to enhance overall supply chain performance, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Supplier Performance Management: Actively manage and monitor supplier performance to meet and exceed cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Oversee supplier selection and manage subcontract engineering development work packages, ensuring project timelines and objectives are met.
Cost, Quality, and Delivery Optimization: Collaborate with existing and new suppliers to continuously improve cost efficiency, product quality, and delivery schedules, driving increased profitability for the business.
Risk Management: Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain risk management plans to safeguard the business against potential disruptions.
Experience: Proven track record in supply chain management within the Defence or related sectors.
Security Clearance: SC clearance is preferred, allowing for immediate involvement in sensitive projects.
Ability to work on-site in the South Coast or Bristol, with options for hybrid working.
