Information Technology Support Engineer

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced IT Engineer in the Essex area with expertise in Microsoft Server 2019 & 2022, Microsoft Hyper-V, cloud-hosted environments, and firewall management. The ideal candidate will also be skilled in Ubiquiti UniFi networks, VPN setup, and Windows 10 & 11 management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Microsoft Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policies.
- Set up and manage virtual environments using Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Deploy and maintain cloud-hosted servers (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
- Configure firewalls and secure network perimeters.
- Set up and manage Ubiquiti UniFi devices and networks.
- Implement VPN solutions for secure remote access.
- Provide support for Windows 10 & 11 systems and ensure network stability.
- Assist with or carry out IT projects as required.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of IT engineering experience with Microsoft Server, Hyper-V, and networking.
- Hands-on experience with Ubiquiti UniFi network setups.
- Proficiency in VPNs, firewalls, and cloud services.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Certifications such as MCITP, CompTIA Network+ are a plus.
