This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices in Leamington Spa, Bicester or Guilford where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

What's the opportunity

Reporting to the Vice President of Vehicle Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy and running a comprehensive Attribute delivery process including developing the process. You will be overseeing the entire process from benchmarking & target setting to sign-off for production.

What you will do:

  • Building & Leading the Vehicle Performance Team
  • Defining and implementing a comprehensive whole vehicle attribute strategy
  • Managing and leading Attribute development processes and procedures
  • Driving the Product teams to translate market requirements into attribute targets
  • Overseeing the system delivery teams on system specifications that meet those targets
  • Working with Vehicle Simulation and Vehicle Development teams to deliver attribute development strategies in line with programme requirements.
  • Participating in the process of balancing targets with each other and programme requirements e.g. cost and time.

Who you are:

  • Experience in end to end attribute development
  • Experience in vehicle tuning or calibration
  • Degree (or equivalent experience ) within the automotive industry (desirable)
  • Logical and analytical thinking with the ability to explain and/or simplify complex technical information and compliance strategies.
  • Strong project and budget management skills
  • Expertise in relevant software tools and systems.
