You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively. We are looking for a dynamic Team Leader to join our Data Management Hub in central Liverpool. As a Team Leader, you will ensure timely delivery of services while maintaining the highest quality. This role offers a great opportunity to work in a growing department that is integral to BDO’s long-term strategy.
Assisting in the design and implementation of research and data projects.
Maintaining accurate records of all data improvement and research activities.
Embedding a continuous improvement culture through effective monitoring and root cause analysis of errors and omissions.
Uphold high ethical standards and ensuring the team adheres to policies and regulation.
Handling internal queries and building relationships with colleagues and teams across BDO UK.
Leading training and development of the teams and colleagues to ensure we are ‘Helping all succeed’.
Support in the collection and analysis of data from multiple sources.
Set clear performance expectations, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, offering training and growth opportunities.
Be flexible and responsive to changing circumstances and priorities.
Some people and team management experience.
Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Excel and other MS Office products.
Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and complete tasks with limited supervision.
Willingness to get involved in ad hoc activities with a ‘can do’ attitude.
Ability to use your initiative and take a flexible approach.
Familiarity with business applications such as CMS, Workday, MDM, Templafy.
