Job Title: Head of Sales / Events

As the Head of Sales / Events, you will be responsible for leading and managing our sales team to drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives in the events sector. You will develop and implement strategic sales plans, identify new business opportunities, and foster strong relationships with clients seeking event management services. Additionally, you will oversee sales operations, set sales targets, and monitor performance metrics to ensure the successful execution of events and attainment of sales goals.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets in the events sector
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand our client base and increase market share in event management services
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the events industry through proactive prospecting and networking
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients seeking event management services, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
Collaborate with marketing, event planning, and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives
Analyze sales data and market trends in the events sector to identify opportunities for growth and optimization
Continuously assess and improve sales processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in event sales
Years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets, preferably in the events industry
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to excel in event sales
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients in the events sector
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on continuous improvement in event sales
Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems
