Global Accounting Network are currently partnering with a high growth, AIM listed data and analytics business. While the business is listed, they operate more akin to a private equity backed business in how fast paced they are, regularly acquiring businesses at a global scale.

Due to growth, they are now looking to hire a Group Financial Reporting Manager to take a leading role within the function. This is a broad role, with significant projects to take a lead on from day one.

Skills/experience required:

  • Qualified Accountant, through an audit scheme
  • Significant post-qualification experience in industry, in a group function
  • Experience leading on audits under IFRS (US GAAP would be an added bonus)
  • Experience improving processes, with a strong knowledge of what good looks like for a listed, group function
  • Experience managing at least one direct report, with a passion for developing and coaching people in their career

Main responsibilities:

  • Management and development of 3 direct reports
  • Take a leading role on coordinating the audit process with both the team and the external auditors
  • Drive any technical projects such as acquisitions or changes to standards
  • Internal controls/improvement of processes
