Our Client are seeking a passionate and dynamic Trade Marketing Executive to join their team.

The Trade Marketing Executive, plays a vital role in activating the business brands mostly in the UK on-trade sector.

This role offers the opportunity to work with brands of all sizes and budgets, collaborating closely with the sales team to drive new contracts and increase rate on sale (ROS) with existing customers.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and working closely with the Senior Brand Manager, the successful candidate will create cohesive activations that elevate the presence of the business brands in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trade Activation: Develop and execute innovative marketing activations tailored to the needs of specific customers, ensuring business brands stand out in the market.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and support them with tools and activations to win new contracts and increase ROS with existing customers.
  • Brand Representation: Be the face of business brands when out in trade, building strong relationships with customers and delivering memorable brand experiences.
  • Event Management: Take ownership of trade shows, consumer shows, NPD launches and other events, ensuring seamless execution and maximizing brand exposure.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with the Head of Marketing and Senior Brand Manager to align trade marketing initiatives with overall brand strategies.
  • Market Insight: Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities, providing insights to inform future marketing strategies and activations.
  • Point of Sale Materials (POSM) Management: Oversee the creation, distribution and management of POSM, including glassware, displays, and promotional materials to enhance brand visibility on and off trade.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in trade marketing, brand activation, or sales within the beverage industry is preferred.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for the on-trade sector and a willingness to immerse oneself in the UK on-trade experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster relationships with customers.
  • Proactive and results-driven mindset, with a focus on delivering impactful activations and driving business growth.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creativity and resourcefulness, with the ability to leverage limited resources to achieve maximum impact.
